I grew up a little unconventionally, and I'm so glad that I did. It gave me so much freedom and independence to think for myself and really push against the grain of life. I enjoy not doing what everyone else is doing. Although it appears that more and more people are waking up to find they want to live the same way. I'm assuming that's how you've stumbled across my website.
Just to clarify, the kinds of things I'm talking about are living and thinking in a way that most don't. I'm "crunchy-ish" and love the concept of homesteading, slowing down, and creating a life I don't have to use the weekend to recover from. I like making things at home, staying at home with my kids, homeschooling, gardening, and so much more. I also love a good bit of technology, marketing, and all things digitally creative (including photography).
Another example of how I tend to go against the grain is that I don't fit into a "niche," and I don't market myself that way. I tried to separate everything in order to fit into each niche, and it was honestly exhausting. So, need to chat with someone to help you narrow down which shampoo to use with the least amount of toxic ingredients? I'm your girl. Need to work with someone who can appreciate a small business budget but will create a pretty awesome social media campaign to help boost your business? I'm your girl. Need senior pictures done for your high school graduate? I'm your girl. Need to vent about motherhood and how much of a smack in the face it was? I'm your girl. Need someone to preach to you about how important rest and a slow lifestyle are? I'm your girl. Like I said, I don't fit into a specific niche, and I don't want to try. God gave me all these skills and passions, and if I can help you in some way, I'd love to do that.
